I read this morning in the dark (except for our tree)...the perfect setting for your story. Once again, my heart was with you and always will be. Merry Christmas, Larry...Iām sure it will be magical ā¤ļøš
Your ability for storytelling is a gift and you have so many stories to tell. Keep up the incredible work. I grew up in a Catholic household and never heard the story about not putting up the tree before Christmas Eve. That is new to me. I know some wait but I didn't realize it was for that reason. The imagery of a tree in the bathroom for a week living out of a tub with the window open is just mind-blowing! O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree, we learn from all your beauty. Happy holidays Larry!
OMG what a story. I never knew that part about your adventures with the $700. WOW ! This story makes me love you more and more and more. YOU are probably the sweetest man (besides my husband) that I've ever known. I love you dearly.

Thank you for your sweet words.
Another great story, Larry! I smell a memoir!
But would people want to read another memoir? LOL!
It's a nice thought, though. And I am eternally grateful that you take the time to read my words.
Wow. More āyou are thereā moments from a childhood bizarre in its implications. Thanks again.
You can't make this stuff up, alas. Thank you for reading
